7970 TIM replacement?

I know there were some of you 7970 owners out there who replaced the TIM on their 7970s which resulted with better temps.

I'm kind of unhappy with my temps right now, and I'm wondering if TIM replacement would be my first/best option.

Idle temp: 55C w/ 20% fan
Load temp (no OC): 78C w/ 50% fan
Load temp (w/ OC): 85C w/ 60% fan

Any fan speed above 60% fan speed is unbearable.
