Anyone else have problems with character portraits being corrupted while overclocking their 7970 in SWTOR? I don't have issues anywhere else with corruption but that...and its random enough that I can't tell if its the OC or not.

Works fine for me, try increasing your voltage in MSI afterburner (not powertune!) and increase your manual fan temps

Disable antialiasing by editing the configuration file (forgot the name of the line you have to disable). There's lighting and corruption bugs on 7970 with AA enabled.

This is happening even at stock settings. I think it is a driver issue. I can run it just fine right after i start teh computer, but if i log on after a few hours of inactivity, i get corruption and flashing.

Having same problem with portraits. I'm just hoping the next drivers fix it. It does this whether I run it stock or OC.

I was having the same issue, but I occasionaly had corruption with my 5970, and only the portraits on SWTOR. It's either drivers or the game software.

running with a single 7970 atm at 1125/1575 and have not seen portraits getting corrupted. I do have issues with trees appearing to have chunks of them missing, but I think it's some weird game bug. On my 6970s trees would just flicker like crazy

Did this with portraits for me as well, when the player I was grouped with was too far away to see, the blank icon was messed up. Once they got close to me, I alt tabbed out and when I came back it was fixed, not sure what's up with that.

ALSO -- on my 470 the "green beam" bug that you seee in quest hubs was apparent, with the 7970 its gone from a solid giant green beam to a pixelated one that looks even worse.

i get that on my work pc with a GeForce gtx 260 . I think its just a bug , there are a ton of bugs . on alderan the trees in the backround start bugging out on my radeon and i get missing world textures with my work pc

Thinking this is just a driver issue. Sometimes I get missing character portraits when I alt+tab out and back in on my 5970.

There appears to be problems with the in-game AA and AMD cards period. I'd post the link from the dev tracker but the forums are down for the Illum maintenance.

FWIW- I'm not having any graphical bugs and while the game runs well for me, it ran a hell of a lot better during the beta.
