Everyone,
Working to overclock my cards and when I enable unofficial overclocking, voltage control, etc everything looks good and I have a slider for core that goes to 1600+ but the memory is actually worse then CCC, it limits me to 1375 for some reason. Any thoughts? Tried all 3 settings for powerplay...

Run it with the -xcl argument. You can do this from the command line or from a desktop shortcut. Should fix you up.

Just tried it, said adjusting limits please reboot. I rebooted and now I can not adjust voltage and the new maximum for the memory clock is 890. How weird, still digging. If you have any more suggestions, please let me know.

Hmm, weird. Another thing you can try is using sapphire trixx. It has everything MSI afterburner has, pretty much. Voltage adjustments and such.

I tried this and -xcl arguement doesn't allow msi ab to launch. In addition when I unlock the cards clocks I get 0 for Clocks, when I apply the clock I want, it resets to 0. I have tried rebooting as well. any ideas? I have the MSI 7970 standard.

I ended up reinstalling my OS due to other related issues with my gfx change, all problems resolved...

Didn't work, I reinstalled it deleted registry entries and program files msi things also.
