7970 Eyefinity 2D Tearing

Hey Everyone,
4 monitor setup (as described in sig for Chikara). I get significant screen tearing in 2D, consistent spot about a third up from the bottom of the screen. Most viable when scrolling text in firefox such as when browsing the forum. Some reading made me think it was due to VRAM speed, but changing back to stock or even under clocking makes no difference. The only difference I notice is that the two DP monitors are worst, DVI is a bit better, and HDMI to VGA for the 4th monitor the tearing is almost non-existent.

Any thoughts? All 3 7970's are running at 1100/1500 +20% and various voltages. During BF3 gaming the fan profile keeps me in the low 70's. Idle around 50-53 on the GPU1.

I am on the RC driver from January because it is the only one that supports trifire AND eyefinity. Each day the AMD knife in my side hurts a bit more. My 5870 was so perfect, trying to hold on. This box was supposed to be the "be all end all" and last me until Broadwell or even Skylake. Yeah yeah, of course there might be a Haswell HTPC in there along the way ;-)

Thanks!
