7970 and Flight Sims

Hi All,

Some users have reported 7970 not working in DCS Black Shark.
Also I haven't seen any Rise of Flight user with the card yet. Since these are my two favourite games this is the only thing holding me back from purchase.

Is anyone with the card able to confirm either of these flight sims work well?

I have DCS Black Shark 2 and DCS A-10C and both work perfectly, a nice 40% FSP boost at stock speeds. 55% FPS boost with 1125/1575 clocks over my HD 6970.

Rise of flight works flawlessly and again a good 40% FPS boost at stock speeds, rising to around 55% with with 1125/1575 clocks.

FSX allows me to bump up the AA to 4xAF with Supersampling.

I am running at 2560x1600 resolution. All in all a very nice 40-60% boost over my HD 6970 in sims.

Which particular drivers are you using to get the above?

Great info! Any of you used it in IL-2? (Either Il-2 Original or Cliffs of Dover?)
