So, the stock fans on my XFX card are dying... It seems like the only available aftermarket setup is the Accellero Xstreme... I could RMA the card but i have no idea what the turn around time on XFX's rma shenanigans is... If i had a spare GPU it wouldn't be too big of an issue but with this being my only computer capable of doing much of anything being without the card is just annoying... Anyhow, Is the accelero worth the $80+ its being listed for if/when it comes back in stock? Fan noise isn't a big issue for me so it would just be for the cooling concerns... Is it even possible to revive GPU fans? I know on my old cpu crap i could sometimes clean them and get them to work for a few more weeks before they completely died...

You could aways try to take apart the cooling solution and blow all the dust out. Then see if you can carefully get the fans off and re-oil them with some good 3-in-1 or something might get you back up and going again. Make sure to put some new thermal paste on the gpu like mx4 arctic or something non conductive. You may also be able to find replacement fans on ebay or something.

If the fans are dying...maybe they just mail you out some new fans?:) Couldn't hurt to ask about it...just a few quick Google searches and a few people have been successful in getting a cs to send out a new heatsink...might be worth trying more than once since some people are complete dickheads no matter what company...I'm interested in the outcome since we have the same cards.
Also yea i think some good cleaning and a drop of oil should get you thru for a while

oil does wonders, it just might need to be redone often till you get new fans...I can say this its very easy to take apart this card and put new thermal grease on...got to go thru a couple warranty screws but i have herd they don't mind us redoing the thermal grease lol but if they do then it be the very last xfx product i purchase

One last thing,,,idk about yours but mine is NOT standard amd card but a custom XFX version...idk what if any heat sinks will fit our cards...I know people who water cool always avoid our cards because of this
