7950 oc question?

Just got my sapphire 7950 oc version and am using afterburner for the oc. The max on afterburner is 1100 core and 1575 mem, how do I go past this?
 
Right click on the Afterburner short cut and in the "Target" area after the quotation marks end add -xcl . Run the shortcut, and you'll get a pop up message that says your limits have been extended and you need to reboot. Reboot your PC, remove that "-xcl" switch so that the target area reads as it originally did, and then run the Afterburner .exe as normal. The clock limits will have extended.

it also extends the limits for ccc as well

it basically creates a "soft vga bios" in the registry with new powerplay parameters

if u have issues, drop to a command prompt with admin privileges and go to the ab directory. type "msiafterburner /xcl"

I did put it outside the quotes but no luck, same message.
 
use a command prompt

and it needs to be /xcl, not -xcl

and start ab normally first
 
I am using Trixx and it seems to be working very well. The other thing you can do it just switch the BIOS switch on the card to the other position (position 2 I think) and it already has a BIOS with extended limits. Got mine at 1200/1600:) seems pretty darn stable too.
