7950 + 7970

So I bought a Sapphire Vapor-X 7950 first and then saw a sale for a Sapphire 7970. Not having much luck selling the 7950 so how much of a difference would it make if I used both cards? The motherboard I purchased is a GIGABYTE GA-Z87-HD3 LGA 1150 Intel Z87.

What should I do?
 
if you put then in x fire you would have 2 7950s for games that scale good
 
I would sell the 7970 or return it and pick up a used 7950 if money is an issue
 
How long have you been trying to sell the 7950? Seems unlikely that it wouldnt be purchased within a week on Ebay.
 
Not sure if your board would run it all that well. x4 slot will cut the bandwidth and you might get Microstutter.
