as it says in title, simply:

Samsung 793DF vs Samsung 793MB vs NEC FE770 (BK)
...and why

(and what the heck is the difference between these new DFs and MBs ? the older MBs at least weren't flat; this one is supposed to be. they are the same on the outside and have identical specs except that MB has those 3(4) brightness modes and 85Hz (mistake?) @ max res vs 66Hz for DF. weren't the DFs supposed to be the better ones ??)

as for the nec... it's extra ~ $ 45,- and i can't get it locally, so i'm not sure if the extra money would be worth it (...but it's black... *sigh* :) )

or is there anything better (shadow mask, not aperture grille!) than the 3 above that also comes in black and is in the same price range ?
 
Stop, Samsung CRTS sucks, they are good for the money but not really when you can get a NEC/Mitsubishi Appature frille for just a little or maybe alot more. They have bad Dot pitch. They claim .20 DPI but that is diagonala nd everybody else uses horizontal. They also have bad refresh rates
