I have a Zotac 790i Ultra Sli. yesterday morning when i booted it up. it went really slowly. it takes about 15mins for the initial POST information and then it prompts because i don't have a floppy disk. then about 10mins for RAID page, and another 5-10 for the eSATA page. i then get a blank, black screen for about 20minutes, then the XP load screen. after that loads it sat at a blank white screen for about 6 hours before i woke up and turned it off.

During POST i can hit the power button, after which it loads at normal speed. however it doens't accept input from my keyboard(tried with multiple usb and PS/2 keyboards) if i do this. It also gives me a PS/2 mouse error message in addition to the floppy disk fail.

I've tried resetting CMOS and using each of my sticks of ram by themselves. Also contacted Zotac support but have yet to recieve a response.

any ideas on what might be the problem would be great. at this point it pretty much sounds like the mobo is dead in some respect, or both sticks of ram went out simultaneously.

ah - no rma?

i plan on RMA'ing it, being a weekned, wanted to see if anyone else had any suggestions. also haven't gotten a response from Zotac after about 7 hours... not even a confirmation email.

Disconnect everything but the video - yes the hd's and dvd.. all other cards.. Also pull the atx connector and reconnect it.
