Anyone have this card for this game? If so, what res can you play at with the best FPS? I'm trying to decide if this card is worht the investment. Right now i have an ATI 9800XT that I have to play 800x600 to get acceptable FPS. Thanks.

What hardware does the rest of your machine consist of? If you have been using a 9800XT then you have an AGP board, which wouldn't allow you to use the 7900GTX in the first place. Were you planning on upgrading the rest of your system (mobo, CPU, memory)?

If you had a PCIe board than yes, a 7900GTX would allow you to play BF2142 at a minimum of 1280 x 1026. I was able to play BF2142 with my 7900GTO at 1600 x 1200 and that card was clocked slightly lower than the 7900GTX.
