So I've had this card for a few months now, I jumped from a 4830 to a 7850 which wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be(have a phenom ii x4 955 BE OC'd to 3.8ghz atm, its not THAT bad is it?).
Regardless, I've been having some issues with it and I'm not sure what the cause is:
Drivers randomly crashing(maybe just an amd thing? sometimes I'll wake up in the morning and check my computer and the desktop will be black indicative of a crash overnight)
Issues running a dual monitor setup(ones my 40 inch HDTV and the other is my 27 inch monitor, both 1080p not exactly demanding monsters) ie driver crashing like above and other issues.
And also occasionally DROPPING LOADs during gaming. Such as in Dayz it constantly will drop from 70%(which seems to be what it maxes at in arma2) to 5% which isn't alot of fun, and I'm not sure what causes it to recover (but it does, normally after 10-30 seconds).
I thought it might be my PSU, but it's not a huge load of shit. It's a antec eco power 500 watt, not amazing but it's decent and relatively well reviewed. Voltage monitors pin it at 11.6-12.1, which isn't great but then again it's software voltage monitors so I'm not sure.
It's also not over heating, seems to top out around 44C.
I'm not overclocking it, it's an asus if it matters.
Any ideas? Should I just RMA it(if it's still covered, I received it second hand)?
Also, performance has been less than stellar in general and I'm guessing thats related. For instance running 20-30 FPS(which feels more like 15 in that game) in the aforementioned DayZ, or only getting 30 FPS in Crysis 3 on medium-low settings. I was running 13.1 but just installed 13.3 and will see if its any different.
