Next company you should pick after BFG is EVGA, then Leadtek and then XFX.

If you can wait a week or so, the BFG's should start coming back into stock. Their really worth the wait.

Tech support is generally what makes my pick over another company, and that's basically how I listed them. The clocks make a pretty small difference to me, and the clocks are not that big of a difference, maybe 30Mhz seperates the whole group, only real advantage between of the companies listed here would be to BFG with the 1.3Ghz memory.

I think the leadtek is running something like 470/1250...which might be nice...but in the end I agree that support is key...cuz if it breaks...it doesn't matter how high it was clocked..

I say eVGA, I have two of them and love em'!

I've got two BFG cards and they not only OC'ed well, but are very good quality. I've got no reason not to recommend them.

Have you guys been around lately? Not to bash on BFG, but it seems they are deteriorating quickly...it seems eVGA is the way to go now.

I've had both and had no issues out of either company. I also think that due to their popularity that people tend to hear more complaints about them than they would from say, Leadtek or another company not selling as many cards. XFX has the same problem.

What matters is how the company deals with defective product and tech support. BFG is generally reguarded as very good. Although you do hear some issues on this forum from time to time, I feel those issues are in the minority.

yea i was gonna say the asus 7800gtx top is a sweet ass chipset, its quiet, comes stock with a core speed of 486 and mem of 1400, but alotta sites say there beeing modest, for hours the card has gone at 510 core and in most of the sites that did a review of it it got an award!

so id recommend asus regretfully
(its those asians again, they do everything we do only better!(cept hockey))
