Usually when playing Counter-strike: Source and FEAR for awhile during an online match for about 30 minutes in i'd get really good FPS(around 60+ avg running both games @ 1600x1200). After awhile of playing the game my FPS would just drop and the chugging starts, so now iam running 30 FPS or less. This happens usually after playing for a while. I tried lowering my res to 1024x768 and still received the same FPS. My hard drive is pretty much loaded with software and have about 3% left of space. Before i do a complete reinstall i want to see maybe if [H]ardforum crew could give me a hand.

Also during my problems i have had my system OCed to around 2.45 ghz(225x11) which pretty stable. I tried stock settings and still had the same problem. I ran memtest 1.5 while OCed and got errors 50000+ lol. Stock was fine...got 0 errors to test #7.

if youre having memory errors while oced I dont think that counts as stable

Thats for the OC, funny thing was i ran prime95 and folding for 10 hours and had no crashing only memory errors. I also tried stock everything and still had the same results with FPS slow downs. Anyways my highest temp was around 68C, my airflow is not to bad. Ive got 2 fans blowing air through and to 2 sucking it out. I've tried a bunch of drivers from guru3d. Right now iam running the latest beta 82.12 . CPU temp is always around 43C under 100% load

First check your memory if you get errors specifically try different sticks. Second 3% space? Ouch man you only have a 1 gig of ram you better buy another hard drive and free up at least 5 gigs alone for your pagefile. Normally your pagefile should be 500mb to 2 gig if you set windows to manage it dynamically. Your ram isn't much so maybe it's paging to disk which is causing this. Free that up man maybe set it to 4-5gig in size manually and see what happens and defrag your HD after clearing space.

Sounds like a messy system.

There's a setting in the NVIDIA panel that slows down the clock once the temp gets to 115F I think... I tested overclocking and running 3DMark05 and once that temp is hit the performance tanks... guess it highlights the need for good cooling :)
