7800GS question

I have a quick question, I just got my stuff but I have a few questions about the way that the power to the motherboard and video card need to be.

I have the 20 pin main connector, the 4 pin squair connector and a 4 pin floppy connector on the motherboard. Do I plug everything in like I would normally do even if it was only a 20 pin connector motherboard? or do I need to move the4 pin from over by the processor to the extra 4 pins by the motherboard connector? the manual does not state any of this.
Plug it in as normal. The 20 pin connector isn't going to click into the 24 pin connector on the board, but it fits. The other 4 pin connector has to connect by the processor. It won't fit in the vacant 4 spots on the 24 pin connector, unless you have a really big sledgehammer and DFI started making cartoon motherboards. LOL And the board has a floppy connector on it? That's interesting... Although I've never seen a DFI up close myself... If the manual says to hook up a floppy connector... Make it so. :)

The only problem is that the manual does not state if it always needs to be in or just when you are running SLI

Thanks for the quick reply

since you have agp, have you tried modding ur 6800 to having 16 pixel pipes?
Technically, he's no longer an AGP user. :) He's got a new PCIe setup that I hope he'll be posting from, soon. :)

I've heard of people voltmodding and overclocking 6800GS to speeds equalling the 7800GT (just gotta do it right). for 179, you can get an eVGA 6800GS at newegg. my friend's got one, works beautifully. I'd go for that. You'd see performance, 6800GS PCB looks exactly the same as the 7800GT, look on firing squad for comparison pictures. OC's good too.
