7800 gtx mem specs

could anyone get me dimensions for the ram chips on a bfg 7800gtx. im looking at watercooling and the ramsinks i found are 22mm length x 15mm width. just wanted to verify that those are big enough, but not too big. thx

I think they are around this size.
13mm length x 15mm width x 9.5mm height (ram height 1-2mm)

These are the specs for the ram sinks I used and they fit about perfect size to the rams.

22mm length is probably TSOP size, so they are too big (but may still fit). Its easy to find copper BGA ramsinks though, and they arent very expensive.

which ramsinks are you talking about here anyway?

i dunno... i found some tweakmonster ones that are copper with a chrome plating, which i was thinkin may be good so you dont see the copper tarnish.

If you don't want copper tarnish just use cloth gloves during installaiton and it wont tarnish rapidly.

I have heard the tweakmonster sinks are a copper alloy anyway, so the thermal properties are closer to aluminum.

There is some dude who sells ramsinks over on ocforums (i am sure he has threads here and anandtech too, but it is way harder to find)
