So I delided my 7700K and now it's temps are not a problem.

I tried for 5.9 Ghz on 1.30 volts but not stable, then 1.35 not stable - so I backed down to see how high I can get on auto.

4.9 on auto but under x264 stress the voltage goes up to 1.4,,,is that safe? The temps never break 69 C I know it is power that degrads cpu so is 1.4 safe under load?

I hit 1.41 under heavy loads. Try a Prime95 load to see how stable it really is. Prime95's AVX code really puts the hurt on a 7700k.

1.35 seems to be the recommended max for 24/7 use, 1.4 might be ok under water and not stressed/running all the time. also, I don't think ive seem anybody hit 5.9 without LN2 or CO2 and a shit tonne of voltage. so maybe try for 5 like everybody else seems to max out at.

edit: oh and auto will always give it more juice than needed, go manual
