7700 Cu Speed Question

I while ago I installed the 7700 Cu version heatsink/fan on my 3800+ Venice and I didnt put the speed selector on it, I just ran 1 wire to the motherboard.

my question tho

What does it run at if there is no selector? high ? low?

High, about 2000 rpm. This is higher than the max speed possible with the Fanmate2, which is typically 1800 rpm.
 
how fast does the 7000 cu spin on the fanmate compared 2 just being plugged into the mobo. Faster or slower
