7600GT - 250w psu

I just bought this GPU from newegg it recommends a 300w GPU.

I have done some research on the matter and found out the GPU needs about 75watts and gets about 50watts from the AGP/PCI slot.

My pc isn't fully loaded... Do you guys think I can get by with my 250w psu?

That is a pretty easy going card & we don't know anything about your system or PSU, so try it & see.

I just purchased the AGP version of this card but get a black screen when attempting to play a game.Works fine in 2D.My system is a P4 2.8,1 HD,1 gig mem,floppy, 2 optical drives.The power supply is 4 years old and came with the system.It is an Allied with 15 amps on the 12 volt line.My 6800NU works fine.The manual gives no power requirements.
