good to knowBloefield said:BFG 7600GS AGP
38-39 idle, mid 40's cranked.
My 6600GT idled at 50-52 and hit high 70's wailin!
no, not overclocked. i attempted a small OC with ati tool which i was able to do just fine with my 7800GS but (i dont remember the speed) it failed real quick. really unstable on my system so far. it'll probably go back to fry's friday in favor of another 7800GS.Aelfgeft said:Hey, if it's running that cool, go with it. My 6600GT averages around 40-50 idle and 60-70 load. I assume yours is not overclocked?
you find any decent drivers for it?

Haven't bothered looking as the 91.31's work fine for me with eg:
CoD2, Oblivion, Far Cry, Flatout2, Fear, RBR, Morrowind, MOHAA etc.
I.m very happy with the BFG 7600GS however I recommended the 7600GT to a relative for the $25 more. [Leadtech 7600GT]
thanks for the info but for the same price (minus my return) i can have the 7800GS on friday. if not for my laziness and lack of motovation to drive 60 miles today.PWMK2 said:Leadtek just released 7600GT for AGP. It's way cheaper than a 7800GS and is almost dead-on in terms of performance. You might want to check it out.
edit: It just went out of stock, but it looks like they'll be getting some more in on the 5th: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814122009
