7600GS problems with video playback

Ok I have a 22 inch chimei and a geforce 7600GS I bought both of them at the sametime. After installing both of them I downloaded some 720p media and when I try to watch it, it will play for a few minutes then its like my monitor loses signal and goes all black then it pops right back on. This process repeats itself over and over and over for the duration of the video. This only happens when I try to watch hidef media (720p, never tried 1080p). I never had this problem with my 17 inch crt and my ATI 9800SE. Has anyone ever heard of a problem like this? I'd really like to fix it.


When I originaly posted this in the display section I didn't know wether it was my video card or monitor but after hooking up my monitor to my xbox 360 and downloading some 720 videos the problem did not show up. I'm now pretty sure it has to be my video card and I have no idea why it would be doing this. :(
