754 cpu and 939 mobo

I know that ASrock makes some motherboards that support both socket 754 and 939.

True but I wonder how good of a motherboard that board is? :confused:
Seems funny to me that Asrock is the ONLY one making that cross breed board. Seems like if it was a good thing more manufacturers would be doing it.
 
ECS makes a motherboard that's LGA775 by default and has an optional bridge that plugs int oa PCI-E slot (or something similar) to allow 2 Lanes of DDR1 and a S939 AMD CPU.

Wow! I have never known anyone else that would admit to having the Mighty Tridey 9440. I still have one sitting around somewhere (I think it was the 2mb version, but it might be only 1).

Leon: Can you provide a link to that board? I've never in my life seen a PCI-e device like that and now I'm curious to take a look!
