So I'm running low on disk space and I've decided to buy one of the fastest drives out there (WD 74GB Raptor) But first a few questions..

My Current Setup:

Asus P4PE Mobo
Intel P4 2.53 GIG
Western Digital Caviar HD 80GIG 8mb Cache
512 MB Corsair CMX512-2700C2 DDR 333, PC2700
Gigabyte 6600GT 128MB Graphics Card
Antec TruePower 2.0 550 W PSU
Sound Blaster Live 5.1
Sony DVD
Asus 48x CD-R

Looks like my 2002 Asus P4PE Motherboard does support SATA. However can I run my exsisting Hardrive with an SATA Drive? Will I run into any issues/problems running these two drives together? I plan to use the Raptor as C (For windows/games/etc), and my exsisting drive as storage for movies/music, etc. Also, are there any other configurations I should consider (Perhaps Raid?) when adding a new hardrive? Keep in mind I want more storage and more speed. I know this sounds like a newb question but I figure i'd clear it up before I go to purchase the drive. Thanks!!
