I know rightnow the 7800's are on the 70 chip i heard at a computer store that there is a 72 chip in the work to replace them in the next month or 2 anyone heard of this or got a link about it what will be better or worse about it??
The 90 nm chip is slated for January. I suspect, however, that it will be mated to 512 MB of GDDR3 1.2 ns memory until the 256 MB channel gets depleted a little. So, if you want a 256 MB GTX with a 90 nm chip, it may be late February or March.
