I just popped in at Sparkle, to see what their latest driver relaease was, as I own a Sparkle 6800GT.
Great was my surprise, when they list 71.24(WHQL) as their latest driver.
Not even Guru3D has these as WHQL :)
As far as I can tell these are NOT vendor specific! :)

these drivers are crappy!!! i tried them.. and other people too... i get black artifacts and stuff in my games.. especially HL2.... i stuck with the 71.20
 
Slight performance improvement, but as aZn_plyR said, it's buggy, I got white stuff on some HL2 textures. Next...
 
They have been almost perfect for me. The grass/moss in CS:S aztec is a little funky, other then that they have been great! I just did a full format today, decided to use these right off the bat.
