$70 ECS A770M-A AM2+ any good?

well I take it your going to eventually dish out some cash for a new chip since it's a AM2+ board so why not invest a few more pennies in something not made by ECS. Just stay clear is what I reccomend, even a lower priced BIOSTAR is faaaaaar better.

Who cares if it's made by ECS as long as it works and it overclocks decently?

I think this is what the OP is really trying to get at.

I don't think that overclock ability is important for such a cheap mobo, I'm interested because it is cheap and quite feature rich too. Maybe could be an alternative to ASRock boards.

do not equate cheap with shitty.the board you are looking at is probably quite good.true it's overclocking features are thin you indicated you were not that interested.want to see some bitching go over to asus boards and listen too them complain about their high priced maximums motherboards
