will the 7/16" tubing fit in the pci slot of a case? I dont want to MOD my case thats why im asking.

mine did not, I ended up removing one of the dividers between 2 of my slots to make it fit.

err, no, my 3/8" only just does, and it squeezes it quite a bit, so i drilled holes. you could always use 2 slots and cut between them

No it won't. BTW I am using all 7/16 tubing in my rig. If I had to do it over again, I'd use smaller tubing. It's been proven that the tubing size makes very little difference on modern water cooling hardware.

Interesting, thanks

is that true?
wow, its been proven that flow doesnt, but i guess if u have higher flow/smaller tube, the same amount of water passes.
would you recomend a 3/8" loop with a laing ddc pump of some sort then?

Yep. It's been proven for a *long* time now... But apparently the Zealots only heed the wisdom of a select few :) Too bad I love the look of larger tubing!

Even flow-rate isn't that important, as long as you're over 1gpm. Case in point, lowering my MCP655 from 5 to 2 makes no difference in temperatures even after 45 minutes of full load.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably go with 3/8" instead of the larger 7/16" I'm using now.

Keep using the big tubing as it can only hurt your computer if the torsional effects of the tubing aren't controlled well.
