6xx compatible with current 915/925 mobos?

You'll be okay running then on a 925XE chipset for sure, I know that. As for the other ones, I'm not sure. 1066FSB chips will need the 925XE, but the 800FSB chips on the 600 series should work with the 915/925X as well, but don't take my word for it.

I'm not sure that the 6xx chips will even require a 925XE chipset since all are still 800MHz FSB. Those models will probably with a lower multiplier unlocked for 1066MHz FSB like current 560 and 570 chips.
Hmph. Future doesn't look too bright on the 925 chipset... maybe I should wait a month before I get my new computer...
