Check if they actually work - if they do it's a steal (in fact the next step would be to check if they are indeed stolen).

Looks too good to be true. Proceed with caution.

im gonna test them on my rig before buying and i think it might be a honest deal because the guy said he writes reviews and when i looked up his number he had tons of stuff for really cheap

be cautious, last few AMD cards i bought used had a short life. Bitcoin mining is hard on video cards.

If you only want one, buy both and I'll pay $250+ship for the other w/o block. ;)

Dude CL is always the way to go for buying shit at extremely good prices. HOWEVER, you might be buying broken shit!!!

2 years ago I bought a pair (2) of 2600k's for $200... Sold one here for $265 shipped.

Is there a link or screenshot to this ad (if it's permissible by [H])?

To me, it sounds too good to be true. Another guy here on [H] found it as well.

Lowest completed listing on eBay is $260. The card is used, only a year old, and seller is just selling just the bare card. Others have sold for $335 to $400.

The most recent 6990 in the FS/FT thread is going for $375.

I'd still be weary about it though.

In comparison, Radeon 6950 on eBay have been selling for $120 to $150 depending on condition. The Radeon 6970 is between $150 to $220. I would assume that a used and in good condition Radeon 6990 should go at least twice the price of a used Radeon 6970. For $225, you're paying about $112.50 for each of the Radeon 6970s in that card, which is quite less than the going rate for a used 6970 on eBay.

Like others have said above, check the card, especially its physical condition. Maybe ask the seller to test it in his computer first before he sells it to you. For $225 and an interested buyer, the seller should be willing to check it for you. No harm done, right?

EDIT: Looks like someone else is looking at the same ad.
