6990 and hdmi issue ?

Howdy

My issue is this --- i am running a 6990 with 12.1 drivers. When i run in hdmi mode my screen shrinks .About an inch and a half from all borders . Not sure whats up with that . DVI mode works normal. LCD is a 24 asus .

Did not know if this was a common issue and a simple way to fix.Thanks for the help guys !
