new the ati market, i have 2 6970,s in sli and i have to say unigen bench sucks, shows very low scores, some thing has to be wrong, all high settings jumpy as hell, gpuz shows crossfire enabled, any suggestions?

couple things for ya.

First it's not SLI its Crossfire (laughs but who cares right).

Second, did you install the 11.2cap profiles? You will need them for crossfire. http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx

and Third, Unigen benchmark is not a game. Try playing a game to see how it does!

Yes Cap profiles is for people who use Crossfire, and the profiles are made for games to take advantage of them.

Also make sure you have Crossfire enabled in CCC.

You will see the download in that link i posted. You need those caps for Crossfire to work
 
yea it had cap1 now cap 2, says crossfie enabled, but i have to say 14 to 22 fps in unigen heaven, thats nutzzz, i had that with 1 lil 560 ti nvidia, some thing wrong
 
opened mw3 goes to 91 fps and stops, with nvidia thats vsync, if disable that it will go on up, but i dont see that in this setup

Alright. So did you try anything else?

I mean its a benchmark that does nothing....Try a game, BF3 maybe? then see if Crossfire works
 
tried mw3, but trying a benchmark to see the difference in other cards, cant really tell by game as 1 card will go to the 91 fps

Well MW3 is not a very demanding game. It's the same engine as Black ops.

The 560TI would EASILY max out MW3.

Try a demanding game that uses your GPU's....BF3, crysis 2, Metro 2033.

MW3 is an ancient engine bro
 
re-downloading though and reinstall, something not right i appreciate all the help as well, im new to ati, not use to all these packages to download, nvidia 1 download boom enable sli done!!!!, so again all help would be appreciated, any card i mean in sli or crossfie should get better than 14 to 25 in unigen, if rem correctly 1 good car will do that, and it jumpy, but not in games
 
well i just did but when trierd install says something bout integrity check failed
 
yea same thing everythime i d/l when try install it says the integrity thing, if i get it from zip @ sapphire websight it works

Not to be picky but MW3 using the same engine as MW2. Black Ops uses the same engine as World at War. All of them are modified Quake 3 engines.
 
bf3 these cards show 100 to 150+ but unigen bench very bad maz fps 21, so i dunno

Look, first go to the AMD website and download the 11.11 package.

Also download the CAP on the same page and install that.

or the newer "performance" driver: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/catalyst-1111b-performance.aspx

Now, as I asked you before.....is your motherboard Crossfire capable?
Do you have the bridge connector attached?
Did you uninstall your corrupted drivers using the AMD uninstall utility, and then reinstall the drivers linked above?
Enable Crossfire in the CatalystControlCenter.:rolleyes:

Download and enable MSI Afterburner, it will tell you if both cards are working in Crossfire.

i googled "integrity check" and it implies that you download was bad......don't use Sapphire's site, use AMD's......make sure you redownload AND make sure you uninstall the old one using the CCC uninstaller in W7 Control panel under "uninstall a program", run a driver sweeper, and then reinstall your AMD download.

yes specs are in my signature, its crossfire or sli, bridge connected, i did not use ati uninstall utility ill try that, and yes c/f is enabled and gpuz shows it, bf3 shows good fps 100 to around 160, but mw3 locked at 91 which i know thats max in that engine, but unigen is absolutely terrible, 14 to 21 fps 545 score, ive gotten that with 1 nvidia card, also i cannot get drivers from amd sight keeps saying when d/l done something bout, integrity wont install, unsafe d/l or w/e, as for amd websight everythime i d/l from there is says unsafe d/l wont install

Disable your antivirus, there's nothing corrupt about AMDs website.

Make sure you have deleted all driver versions prior to your download and empty the recycle bin.

Did you download the correct driver version for your edition of windows? ie W7 x-64 or W7-x32?

Also, if what you are saying is correct, and you have 160 FPS in BF3 (what resolution?) then who cares about Unigine? It just a dumb benchmark, I don't think anyone plays those much.;)
 
no antivirus no firewall, nothing like that but everything i d/l it sayd reported unsafe and if try n run anyways it says something bout the integrity, i googled that and its known issue, and turns out unigen is alot better now, i was running it with fullscreen toggled off, which was never a problem with other cards, but this setup with full enabled its now 38 to 65 fps, and as for remark about unigen, yes i use it becausee it gives a lower more depth field of the power of ur card, dunno bout u but 800$ in vid cards i want them to perform well, know what i mean? bench always better than a game engine to test

why would i lie? geesh dude.. what i pulled the story out my ass? im tellin ya when i download from amd sight it says right when done lil red bage thing says reported unsafe do u want to delete? i say no and run anyways then right away something about the integrity of the file, i have no clue why its doing this, but dont call me a liar, why would i just say something like that if not true?

You have three, count 'em three threads here in the last 36 hours all complaining about the same thing, over and over.

Post a screen shot of the script then, so I can see it.
I've used AMD drivers for the past 3 years off and on.

I've never seen that message. I got something one time when I tried to install a bootlegged beta driver.....maybe.

Your story is just too odd.

Also you talk about getting over 90 frames in BF3, so you must have been able to download drivers for your 6970s, right?

Get your story right.

whats the websight, ummmm AMD, whats say at bottom when d/l done? UNSAFE, i have no antivirus, no nothing, disabled firewall everything, and yes theres several post of me bitchin, these are new cards trying to get help instead i get morons like u tryin call someone aliar when all i want is help, get a grip already, and if u read the post u would know that it was cause i wasnt running benchs in full screen, 1 guy had the descecy to help me at we figured it out, drivers i got from sapphire websight no problems
 
oh yea i already have, satisfied with the performance now that got them lined out, it was just these people calling someone a liar, as for amd sight i still cannot d/l from there, i showed screenshots, weird thing is, the cap2 or w/e it is profile d/l, well that works from amd sight, but the big file the catalyst takes while to d/l then says reported unsafe, i even tried using firefox, and then when done try install, i get the integrity of file is ... blah blahh, wont install, get it from sapphire works perfectly

Your download is corrupt.
The official AMD 11.11b driver is 151MB, so there is something wrong with the file you downloaded, that's why the file shows as corrupted.

Can I explain it.....no.......but I've never seen a Catalyst download called "ocl newest download" either.
If what you have in the screenshot is from Sapphire, well that's peculiar to them.
If that came from "AMD" that may be an unofficial file.

Your posts from last night were very odd.
I am sorry if I didn't believe you, but it was just not making sense, and that last screenshot isn't making sense either.

edit: I looked on AMD's site.....the plain 11.11 Catalyst package IS just over 100MB, so you do have the correct page and download.
Why it's behaving oddly, I can't explain.
But at any rate, go back in the thread and use the 11.11b driver I linked......it will be the latest driver available and may not give you such problems.

i tired the link u had, and same thing reported unsafe, the only thing i can get from amd sight is the profile patch, and the catalyst i can only get from sapphire, makes no sense to me

Send it to AMD support.

I dont understand that at all. Ive never seen that, never.
