6970 gaming problem?

Is it overclocked? Is it overheating? If i remember right starcraft2 was known for overheating cards in menus, but that was probably fixed.
 
It comes with amd's tiny stock overclock, and reports 30c temps. I've got my drivers up to date.
 
Just an update, I put the stock fan cooler back on it, and it runs fine except for a slight ticking or sucking sound when 3d graphics are running.
