I have read a lot of junk about when the Cayman's will be released. I want to know what you guys think, will it be out by the 25th?

Yes, what kind of question is that? It appears some folks have the card out there already under NDA

I heard Santa Clause is having problems with HD6900 series at TSMC and Texas Instruments. Rudolph might be able to score a few HD6900 cards for Christmas but don't get your hopes up. Santa couldn't get the black Friday system to work out for the HD6900 series.

I would assume so since ATI would probably want to compete with Nvidia releasing the GTX 580 and 570

I hope so because the suspense is killing me! I was looking forward to this card a little sooner. :(

I'm getting 2 of those uber sexy Caymans! I have $1100 reserved on my credit card ready to buy as soon as they come out. This time around being a early adopter is a must.

Yeah I'm waiting for day one as well.
Spend the morning scrolling through some 6950/6970 benchmarks, make sure everything looks okay, decide which one suits me best, and buy right away.
If you wait more than 1-2 days, the prices will go up or they'll be sold out entirely.

Exactly. With all the news of supply issues and what-not ... though I'm taking it all with a grain of salt. I got burned last year when RV870 came out I decided to wait a bit for NV's response and for drivers to mature. We all know what happened then. Not again.

I think you can't go wrong by buying as soon as possible. Your recent history of AMD pricing is right on. Best deals seem to be had at release, unless you can wait a year.

I can't tell you where I get my information from because I don't want to get them in trouble, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that the cards either will or will not make it by Christmas. Don't let this information leak out of this forum!
