6950 crossfirex oc help

ok so i have 2 6950 2gb cards that i unlocked and tested for over 2 days every thing is fine. SO i dl afterburner to go and oc and i bump them up up to 850 bam, bsod saying service exception so i let it restart and then go back in to afterburner and go to put the fan back to 50% and bam bsod. any thign i ues to try to clock to mess whit the fan or v i get a bsod so i re flashed them to my unlocked backup bios and same thing. Reinstalled ccc and all was fine bumped up the cards to 915 before it locked up so i go to up the v and card 2 volt wont go over 1.065 and when. well i go to trun on my pc this mooring bam every time i try to clock them outside of ccc or mess whit the fan it bsod again. what could eb casuign this using the newest ati drivers
