6950 Crossfire BSOD

Hey guys im having a issue. Im running 2 Stock 6950's in crossfire on a GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD4P with a Corsair 650TX. When i get into windows it works fine untill the ati drivers load then i get a BSOD. It happen everytime. Sometimes my screen will just go blank but mostly a BSOD. ive tried each card and both work fine. Anyone have any ideas? I was using the 11.1a drivers from ATI.
 
Don't use 11.1a, this is a bug that's happened to a fair few people. Try 10.12a.
 
No problems with 11.1a on my setup. OP what are the rest of your specs, Is your os install fresh, what card are you upgrading from, the more info the better.
