I recently got a 6950 1GB, and much to my surprise, it came with these settings.

Yup! It's actually labeled as an Engineering Sample. I haven't taken the heatsink off yet to see if there's something up with the hardware, and I haven't put it into my other rig to test, but I haven't been able to get CGMiner running.

Before I poked and prodded too much, I tried the other option in the BIOS switch - no boot. Does anyone have a stock bios for one of these cards? I'm hoping to get it simply as a backup.

It's bonkers, since I'm using the same drivers and CGMiner as I am on my other functional PC.

I have a XFX 6950 1GB in my wife's rig I can copy the bios from for you. I'm at work now, so it'd be later today before I could get it for you.

LOL, awesome!

Too bad neither of these BIOS's are stock - both are for the unlocked shaders.

sorry, my bad...i didnt think to select generic 6950...

lol
