6903s Borked

Anyone else seeing a problem with these here today. thekraken sits at 99% CPU usage Mapping NT( 30+ minutes ) and is taking up 28GB of memory. I have tired about 5 downloads in a row and all get these interesting WUs.

That does appear to be a similar problem. I am folding a couple 8101s until the hiccup gets fixed.

Don't hold your breath waiting for a fix. Somethings wrong with Dr. Kassons server in VA. First we had WUs with twice the number of frames they should have. Then we got the 512 byte WUs. Now we're getting WUs where the download size is around 80% of what it should be. Dr. Kasson keeps cleaning out the bad WUs when reported but soon after they're back or a new issue starts.

The download part for getting the seed data for the 6903 is about 5 seconds where normally it is a couple of minutes.

I had a 6901 today that just sat at "mapping 32 to 32" at the very start. I just deleted it and went back to 8101s.

You guys don't need to take the hit on PPD switching to 8101 WUs. Just delete machinedependant.dat, queue.dat and your work folder. That should get you a good WU. I'm sure if you check you'll see the downloaded WU you got that hung was smaller than it should have been.
