6870 crossfire issue with Black Ops.

Just helped a buddy upgrade to crossfire 6870s and now Black Ops runs like crap. He gets about 50fps.. I checked some benchmarks to verify both cards are working and they are working in 3dmark 2011. We are running the 11.10 Preview 3 drives wtih the 11.9 CAP.. Anyone else run into these issues? Need some advice!
 
Well I found a list of other ppl having the exact same problem... Looks like the new beta drivers have issues if runnign Xfire with Black Ops. Greeeaaat!
 
the new WHQL drivers should be coming out in the next day or so. see if those help. but all the cod game seem to have issues with crossfire/sli no matter what.
