anyone know anything about the new 6850? now/soon, when will it come, any information, what's soon coming from ati/nvidia? (roadmap?)

Apparently the 6850 series was renamed as the 6800 Ultra Extreme.

The power requriements are the same as the ultra, just higher stock speeds I don't think they are going to make a so-called 6850..
