I plan on taking the dunk, plunge, swim, dive, cannonball or however else you would like to refer to watercooling.

My system is a EVGA 680i w/ E6600 (Currently cooled by an SI-128), and an 8800GTX.
I plan on upgrading from a mid-sized ATX case to a full sized one. I've narrowed it down to the following:

I've never had a Thermaltake but out of the TT's I'm likely the Eureka the most. I'm really disliking how the power button is behind the ODD Shield.

Also I've been reading that the best watercooling setup is gonna be random parts from different manufacturer's. So I definately need some major advice.
Goals (#1 is the most important):
1] Need enough cooling to get my E6600 to 3.6.
A] Looking for something no more expensive than $350.
B] Would like something centered around ease of use...
C] ...and stable.

As far as A goes, I'm not a penny pincher. I do not necessarily like saving $5 by switching to a particular peice coming from a random generic company.

okay i will repost some more info when i get a sec... but dont get thermaltake if you want to cool your OCed cpu. if you want it to be quite and look "cool" then get TT... i know some people say that their new stuff is better but it isnt as good as the major companies...

tube diameters very depending on pump and block style...
aquacomputer and alphacool use metric size tubing 6-10mm tubing..

dangerden and switech use 3/8" 7/16" or 1/2"

these days dont get a 110w or AC pump. Get a 12v DC pump that can be plugged into the PSU...

honestly the laing DCC pump with modded top.. either petras or alphacools top is the best pump you can get... 18w version


OH and there is no 8800 GPU block out yet (to my knowledge) so dont get one before you know it will work...

I've heard that TT watercooling is 'lacking', so I wasn't even considered buying a setup from them. However I've heard that you need a large open case for watercooling, and the one I have atm is a NZXT mid-ATX. Which means I would have to buy a larger case, therefor I was asking help on which case to buy out of those (3 of which happen to be TT.

Also, to my knowledge, the waterblock is the most important peice. So I'd definately be interested in finding an exceptional one, but the 680i has had alot of problems with the mounting for aftermarket heat sinks. I need to check for compatibility, because I almost broke my mobo trying to mount my SI-128.

Oh! I also DEFINATELY (super large special caps) need a block for the MCP on my motherboard. The fan that is on that thing is unacceptable. That little sucker (and it is little) spins like a damn hummingbird. I think 6000rpm's with it throttled...and it's HOT.
 
thats cool... the case i have is a lian li PC-7b which is a mid size and i have it watercooled..

Tts cases are fine... but you dont "need" a big case to WC in... however it is easier to work with....
