I'm wanting to NB watercooling in the next little while and I'm trying to decide on a block.

I have an XFX 680i LT motherboard.
Motherboard

I found this one, seems to be pretty universal.
Swiftech Block Will it work?

The EK waterblocks seem to be EVGA specific...
EK Special Block

So I'm assuming they won't work? Are there any other 680i waterblocks besides Danger Den?

I have all 3. I like the EK block the best, however don't expect to reuse this block with future motherboards. MCW30's are universally regarded as the most cost effective, upgrade friendly chipset blocks.

I also have the DD680i but I personally wouldn't recommend it to others. I'm in the process of switching all the DD680i's across my 3 WC'ed comps at home for EK's. I use the MCW30's on my intel boards.

But do you know if the EK will work with the XFX board?

EK NF4 1.1 block is a universal block for nvidia chipsets. I haven't heard of a case where that block wouldn't work. Stop over on xtremesystems.org/forums/ and make a post. Eddie (guy who owns/runs/designs the waterblocks) can give you an official answer if you'd like. But I'm pretty confident about the block working on the board as long as its not a spring mounting system.

If the EK block fits the EVGA 680i LT board, it will fit the XFX 680i LT board, they are the same reff board built by the same folks...........:D

I knew foxcon made them both but I didn't know if they were exactly the same. I'll probably pick one up before to long, thanks guys!
