will 680i mobo work with newer intel cpu like 45nm penty somethin?

FYI i haven't found any useful info bout this and prolly i sux on findin info lol... :-s

So it will be socket 775, but might need a new chipset. Motherboards just are future proof anymore.

This will probably be my next major upgrade. Unless DX10 titles start coming out sooner, then I might buy a decent retail box and put an R600 or 8900 in it to tide me for a while.
