6800U and overclocking woes..

ok guys i need someone to tell me if this is hte problem.. u see my ultra came stock at 425/1100 and i can't overclock it 5 mhz on the core.... everytime i run the VST in cs:s it crashes... the memory overclocks to 1150 like a charm but the core sucks... and heres the part i need help on.. i have one molex connector for my ultra dedicated.. but the other is through a a few fans and possibly a harddrive.... would i get a higher overclock on the core if i make two dedicated connectors for my ultra? instead of one.. and o yeah can someone tell me how many molex connectors are there for my antec 450W power supply? its a "smartpower" one.. thnx

That should be enough juice (your PSU).

What are your GPU temps?

If it's pushing high mid 90's you might want to check out the heatsink, maybe apply some AS5.

Also, make sure you're running the latest bios for your card (should end xxx.15)

If you temps & bios are ok, you might want to try a little more voltage to your core:

well it definitely not my teamps.. i idle at 47-52 and the most ive seen with "rhtili" watever.. was 72 for 1 hour.. but i figured it out.. it was hte vc wasnt getting enough juice becuase one of the molex was shared with 2 sata drives... i took the sata drive out and now i can get 440 on the core.. and i might try to up the voltage to 1.5 too.. thnx!
