I've seen people bragging about $250 6800 non ultras and people seem to act like they grow on trees, but I haven't found any that have been in stock or that low in price. Perhaps I just need some guidance?

thats cool I have a 5600 ultra asylum pos I can turn in and a 4600 gloryious piece of gold I can turn if for 100 dollars down :)

Yeah, it looks like the prices on the 6800NUs are starting to creep up. The same card I bought on Newegg for $250 is now $280. Maybe nV is trying to phase out the 6800NU since it performs better than the 6600GT, and has the possibility of unlocking the extra pipes.

It seems like most people are talking about the BFG 6800 OC at outpost.com for $249

also, people are saying that on Black Friday, CompUSA will have the PNY 6800nu for $200AR

I think i might jump on the compusa deal if i can get my ass up early enough that morning unless fry's has a better deal...

If you order the outpost.com deal, people have been getting cancelation emails because it's out of stock. If you call outpost.com you can verify this.

if u read the forums alot, about 2-3 weeks ago they said there phasing out the 6800nu forgot why tho

arn't they making a 6700 to replace the 6800 nu?

-Edit: I did some searching and it doesn't look like it, nevermind

That's what I thought. Who knows what the name will be, but the NV41 is supposed to have similar specs to the 6800nu and is PCI-E native.
