I have a 6800nu PCI-e that I got with a Dell last year. Ive since then replaced the motherboard and have a new case. My question is though, in the NVIDIA display options, under the clock frequency setting there is the button detect optimal frequencies.
The stock clock speeds on the card are core 325/ memory 600.
When I used the detect optimal frequencies button, it said the maximum safe clock speeds from my card are 445/ 840. That seemed way too high of an overclock with the crappy stock cooling for the card. So, is the detect optimal frequencies button correct that I can overclock the card that high or what? Also, If other 6800nu pci-e overclockers could tell me how high they OCd their card, that would be great.
