what is the 6800LE is it just a 6800 with some hidden pipelines?

It's a low-budget AGP card for OEMs.
It has 8 pipelines and 4 vertex units by default, and runs at 300 MHz core and 700 MHz memory (256 bit).
But it uses the same core as all other 6800s, so you can unlock the pipes, voltmod it, and overclock it...
My brother has one that runs on 12 pipelines (the last 4 pipes give some artifacts), 6 vertex units and 415/860 MHz. Makes it quite fast, really :)

They are decent cards if you can unlock all the extra pipes/shaders. I saw one around here being labled as a 6800U minus the ram.. But to be sureproof get a real 6800NU.
