Well was reading about the 6800LE like a week or two back and now I'm reading that a 6600GT is coming out.

Exactly where are these card suppose to be positioned on the card spectrum or whatever.

Supposedly the 6800LE will roll for about $200 and now the 6600GT is going to roll for about $200. I have no idea what Nvidia is thinking with that. Rumor has it the 6800LE will be OEM only, but in the vid card thread, someone showed off their XFX 6800LE.
 
Yeah, if the 6800LE is actually available to the mainstream, then it should be far better than the 6600GT. Basically the same card only the 6800LE has double the memory bandwidth.
 
I don't know about that. 6600GT will have 8 pipes and DDR3, while the 6800LE will have it's 8 pipes with DDR1 (I think it's 1).

It's confusing to know where these cards will sit.
