I have been running BF 2 on high setting and i get major lag in some of the maps i dont under stand shouldnt this card be able to run it on high without all the lag, Its not related to cpu or memory i have 2gigs of memory and a 3200+, so i dont know what this lag is coming from
 
if you are refering to online maps, dont worry about it. i get it sometimes with 2x6800gts and 2gb and an fx55. it is probably the server.
 
Well is it lag as in your internet connection ? OR a weird and annoying stutter ? For some people its a problem with their pagefile have you looked at that ?
 
Yeah, some of the 64 person servers dont have the guts to really carry that number of people. Simply go to a 32 person server and check there. No lag there, it's a server issue.

I will say that running everything on high doesnt help your gameplay. Textures are just fine on medium, there's just not much difference if you are actually fighting as opposed to sitting somewhere looking for visual defects. :rolleyes:
