Ok I just came back from spending 4 hours trying to get my friend's new 6800GT (Leadtek) to work. I put it in there.. booted it up and it came up with random characters, dots, and lines all across in the screen. It went through bootup like that and when it comes up to windows it just freezes or comes up with a bluescreen error that is impossible to read. After messing with it, I finally get it to boot up. I thought i fixed the problem, and i put drivers on the card etc. Turn it back on and it is glitched again. It seems to have a 1/4 success rate at working, at best. I have checked the power to the card, the AGP slot, the heat, and cannot find anything really "wrong". Trying another video card the computer boots up perfect every time. Anyone have this problem with the 6800, or did my friend just recieve a DOA card?

whats the PSU this person has...does this person have the CPU overclocked.. when i would overclock my CPU 2 much i would get the blue screen error on startup
The PSU is 450W, rails are fine (within 5%), no overclocks on anything, never has been. I have tried disc certain items to see if it was a power issue, since he has 3 CDRom drives, 3 HDs, etc.. The bluescreen occurs right when loading windows, it starts to load then blue screens.
