6800gt install issue

I'm a total newb with an awesome computer. I just got my 6800gt back from Gainward RMA. I've never installed a video card before, but I tried to install mine. When I put it in and fired it up, it made a super fucking loud sqeek noise. I was like wtf it scared me. WTF causes that??? Please reply asap!

really loud squeek noise... fan? but that shouldnt cause a high squeek noise. mmmmm i duno. i r not of good intelligence. wait for someone else 2 reply
 
Ever since I got mine I noticed some kind of squeek from time to time on boot, but then it usually goes away and doesnt come back untill the next boot up several hours afterwords(ie: the next day)...so it might just be that, but I'm not 100% sure my squeek is the video card.

As I said, I'm a newb. Thanks for the help, I actually just figured that out and now its up and running. More help needed though. How do I uninstall the video card drivers and reinstall my 6800GT drivers?

Diddy, I've changed your thread title. Not only is "omg, wtf!" not real descriptive, but we don't like implied swearing in thread titles here, ok?

A descriptive title will actually get you better replies. :)
 
Thanks Lethal, I'm sorry that was a bad call on my part, but in my situation I thought I just blew up my computer. On to another question. Where can I get the drivers for my card? I just used drivercleaner, and I'm sure there are no video card drivers. Where do I get them???

The card works great, TW:2005 runs great.

Super fucking loud. But the card itself, with the dual fans running sounds like a jet engine. I need some fan controllers asap.
